Not every need is dramatic. Often it is soap, sanitary products, or basic household items that a family simply cannot afford in a given month.
Context
Hygiene products and everyday essentials rarely make headlines, but going without them affects health, dignity and daily life in ways that are easy for outsiders to overlook.
This is also where community collaboration is often most useful — organisations already producing or distributing goods can direct some of that toward families who need them.
What happened
A documented collaboration with DrukSmart CARES, alongside Oie Wheels, saw hygiene products and essential supplies distributed to families in need, with Karma Kelvin helping connect donated resources to the people who needed them.
Why it matters
These collaborations are not about headlines — they are about making sure ordinary, essential things reach people who are going without them.
It also shows how organisations can contribute usefully: not by starting something new, but by channelling existing resources through a network that already knows where the need is.
There is always something we can do.
Volunteering, sharing a story, or connecting a resource can be the first step in someone else's story.
